Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. - It was a little revenge on the minds of No. 9 Davenport on Tuesday night as they traveled to No. 3 Adrian for a critical GLCHL clash. Earlier this season, the Bulldogs came into Patterson Ice Center and won 8-1 but on this night it was Davenport returning the favor by the final of 4-3. The Bulldogs jumped ahead 2-0 in the first period but the Panthers maintained their composure and started to battle back.
Alex Hulford got DU on the board in the second from
Alyx Fonseca on the power play. Another Bulldog penalty allowed DU to tie the game at 2-2 minutes later as
Kody Polin got the man-advantage goal from
Chris Eckler. Seven minutes into the third period, the Panthers took a 3-2 lead as their third power play goal of the game was scored by
Matt Ogden with assists from Polin and Eckler.
Travis White scored the game-winner later in the third from
Everett Thompson and Hulford for a 4-2 lead. Brad Kobryn cut the lead to 4-3 with seconds left in the game and Davenport held off the Bulldogs for a big win.
Matt Kaludis made 26 saves on the night as both teams had 29 shots on goal.
