GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Panthers had to battle all game long Saturday afternoon as the visiting Gray Wolves of Lourdes University put DU to the test. The Panthers responded to this challenge behind the play of senior
Dominez Burnett as he would tally 26 points in the second half to lead DU to a 70-64 victory.
The first half was a defensive battle as the teams would combine for just 59 points scored. The Gray would hold a 30-29 lead at the break after a three-point shot with just three seconds remaining in the half allowed Lourdes to hold the edge. The Panthers would see this continued fight in the second half as a back-and-forth game continued and DU trailed 41-40 with 12:30 remaining in the game.

Dominez Burnett as he totaled 26 of his 28 points in the second half. Burnett would make clutch play after clutch play down the stretch to propel DU to its 13
th win of the seson. He would add to his dominance offensively with a great defensive half that saw Burnett total four steals and one blocked shot.
Braima Hai helped keep the Panthers ahead as he would score eight points in the second half while going a perfect 3-for-3 from the field.The Panthers made their free throws down the stretch to help secure their six-point win led by Burnett who went 12-for-16 from the line.
