Box Score BENSENVILLE, Ill. - The exploits of Everett Thompson with a hat trick on Saturday gave the men's Division I hockey team a 3-2 overtime win at Robert Morris (Ill.) for the second straight night. The Panthers have now reeled off nine straight wins heading into the holiday break and are 18-2-0-1 overall and ranked fourth in the nation.

Thompson broke the scoreless game in the second period at 7:55 from Aaron Beally. Nick Ernst on the power play at 14:22 tied the game at 1-1 from Jake Floro and Nick Russo. In the third period, Tim Prinz gave the Eagles a 2-1 lead at 3:20 unassisted. Thompson tied it up again at 2-2 from Jordan Simmonds and Beally at the 9:56 mark.

Thompson ended things 34 seconds into overtime unassisted for his fifth goal of the season. Matt Kaludis improved to 12-1 in net making 27 saves.
