Live Audio/Video/Stats A Quick Look at ConcordiaThe Cardinals are currently 15-11 on the season and are tied for fourth in the WHAC standings with Aquinas. Concordia is entering the weekend on a three game losing as they have lost to Lourdes, Aquinas and Northwestern Ohio in their last three games. Leading the way for the Cardinals is Josh Fugate as he is averaging 14.2 points per game and the team as a whole averages 64.2 points per game. Concordia ranks 18th in the NAIA in scoring defense as they allow their opponent to score 66.6 points per game.
Panthers vs. CardinalsIn the all-time series between Davenport and Concordia, each team has won 11 games in the 22 meetings. The Cardinals won the first nine meetings, but the Panthers have since win 11 of the last 13 meetings to tie the series, 11-11. Davenport has won the last four straight games against Concordia, which ties the longest win streak for Davenport in the all-time series against Concordia.
The Last Time Against the Cardinals The last time Davenport and Concordia faced off was at the beginning of January in Ann Arbor, when the Cardinals had a half-game lead over the Panthers for first place in the WHAC. Concordia got off to a hot start as took their largest lead of the game at 17 points and shot 50 percent from the field in the first half and led the Panthers by 11 points at the half. Davenport started the second half on a 16-0 run to take the lead half way through the second half. The Panthers shot 50 percent from the field in the game as they went on to beat the Cardinals 78-72 to take over first place in the WHAC.
Dominez Burnett led the Panthers with 31 points, which tied his then career-high point total.
