GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After the Davenport D1 hockey was able to sweep Michigan-Dearborn last weekend, the Panthers will have their final home-and-home series of the season this weekend against Eastern Michigan. Davenport is ranked 14th in this week's ACHA rankings and is 18-10-1-4 on the season as they head into the weekend. The series will start on Friday at Patterson Ice Center at 8:30 p.m., before the Panthers head east for their final road game of the regular season on Saturday to conclude the series.

Scouting Eastern MichiganÂ
The Eagles of Eastern Michigan come into the weekend with an 8-21-0-1 record on the season and faced off against Western Michigan last weekend, where the Stallions swept the Eagles by the scores of 8-2 and 4-3. Jon Farkas is the leading goal scorer with 19 goals, and he leads the team in points with 37 on the year, while Anthony Stankiewicz leads the team with 22 assists. Farkas and Stankiewicz are the only two players on the team with at least 30 points on the year with 37 and 31, respectively. Joe Moza has played the majority of time in net to compile a 5.34 goals against average and has a .852 save percentage on the season.

Davenport sits at 18-10-1-4 on the season and is coming into the weekend after sweeping GLCHL foe Michigan-Dearborn last weekend.
Kody Polin and
Chris Eckler lead the team in scoring with 31 points apiece, as Eckler leads the team with 20 assists and Polin is second on the team with 15 goals.
Jordan Simmonds is the leading goal scorer on the team with 16 goals.
Matt Kaludis made his first start in net since December 7th in the second game against Michigan-Dearborn where he picked up the win making 23 saves.
Clayton Brown has started in 17 games this season to compile a 10-7-0 record to go along with a 2.73 goals against average and .871 save percentage.

GLCHL OutlookÂ
Adrian has locked up the GLCHL regular season title and has 56 points on the season in conference games, while Oakland has picked up 34 points in the GLCHL games to hold on to second place in the conference standings. The Panthers are in third place in the conference with 32 points and has a total of 12 points remaining in the final four conference games. Western Michigan is fourth with 31 points and Michigan-Dearborn sits in fifth with 27, while Kent State, 21 points, and Eastern Michigan, 12 points, round out the GLCHL.

ACHA Rankings Â
In this week's ACHA rankings, the Panthers stayed at 14th in the rankings, and all the teams in the top-ten stayed remained in the top-ten with Minot State and Stony Brook trading fourth and fifth, while Oklahoma and Robert Morris (Ill.) trade sixth and eighth. Liberty dropped to 13th in the rankings and Illinois moved up two spots to 11th. GLCHL foes, Michigan-Dearborn, 19th, and Adrian (9th) stayed put this week like the Panthers, but Oakland jumped back into the rankings at 23.
