ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Panthers opened play in the WHAC Wednesday evening with a match against Concordia University. Davenport fell behind, 1-0, after the first half and then surrendered three second half goals as they fell to the Cardinals, 4-0.
The Cardinals took the 1-0 lead in the 30
th minute as their 15-shot performance in the first half left the Panthers behind. Davenport then surrendered two goals in the first five minutes of the second half as Concordia took the commanding lead. The Panthers would give up one final goal in the 65
th minute as they fell to the hosting Cardinals, 4-0, and now stand at 2-3-1 overall with a 0-1 mark in the WHAC.
