Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University women's volleyball team got back into the win column on Friday night with a four-set triumph over IU-South Bend (23-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-10) at the DU Student Center. The Panthers fell behind early in the first set and could not get over the hump trailing 1-0 in their home opener. After that it was all DU as they hit .235 or above for the final three sets including a .364 clip in the second set. DU hit .213 for the match and ended with 50 kills compared to 35 for the Titans. The Panthers are now 4-6 overall this season.
Krissy Dill had a good night with 15 kills to lead the team.
Molly Lameyer contributed 10 kills and a pair of blocks.
Marcey DeHaan also tallied 10 kills and a .333 attack percentage to go along with six digs and three assists.
Sami White registered 35 assists, five kills and five digs in a complete performance.
Kasey Stehouwer collected 15 digs as did
Morgan Torres.
Sarah Wendling finished with six kills and a team-high five block assists.
