Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The No. 5 men's ACHA Division I hockey team won for the 16th straight time on Friday night with a 4-2 win over No. 13 Robert Morris (Ill.) at Patterson Ice Center. Davenport's Alex Hulford gave his team a 1-0 lead at 8:45 on the power play with assists by Jordan Simmonds and Cody Walsh. Hulford's one-timer was his 14th goal of the season. The Eagles answered on the power play at 19:42 of the first as Dan Doyle got the marker from Nick Gnagni and Jake Floro.

The Panthers took control in the second period with a pair of goals to lead 3-1 after 40 minutes. Hulford's second goal of the game at 3:36 from Simmonds and Chris Eckler was a blast through traffic. Louie Abounader scored unassisted at 11:10 of the period for his eighth goal of the season.

Davenport took a 4-1 lead at 5:34 of the third period as Everett Thompson's 12th tally of the season came from Hulford and Eckler on a one-timer. The Eagles would score at 15:29 of the third as Gavin Burbach used a nifty move to find the back of the net from Gnagni and Tim Prinz. Davenport held on for a 4-2 win behind 23 saves from Devin Rosema who was brought up after Matt Kaludis and Clayton Brown had to sit out the contest.
