Alex Hulford gave his team a 1-0 lead at 8:45 on the power play with assists by
Jordan Simmonds and
Cody Walsh. Hulford's one-timer was his 14th goal of the season. The Eagles answered on the power play at 19:42 of the first as Dan Doyle got the marker from Nick Gnagni and Jake Floro.
The Panthers took control in the second period with a pair of goals to lead 3-1 after 40 minutes. Hulford's second goal of the game at 3:36 from Simmonds and
