Krissy Dill Makes History While Davenport Sweeps Bethel College 3-0

Dill reaches the 1,000th plateau for both digs and kills in her career

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Oh me oh my! Junior Krissy Dill makes history on the road during 3-0 sweep of Bethel College. Dill reached the 1,000 plateau for both kills and digs in her career in the same match. She now has 1,011 kills and 1,003 digs for her career.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-SET SCORES: 25-21, 25-20, 25-15
-The Panthers would trade points with the Pilots to start the first set, DU would score nine out of the last 12 to close out the set. Dill would record her 1,000th kill during this set.
-The second set saw some more back and forth action, Ashley VanderHorst would tally four kills and hit .800 for the set. Dill would notch her 1,000th dig during this set.
-Davenport would dominate the final set as they won 25-15. Freshmen Izzy Huntington would serve for 5 straight points to put the Panthers up 17-6 at one point.
-Dill and VanderHorst would lead the way with double digits in kills, Dill had 12 and VanderHorst had 11.
-Sami White would lead DU with 19 assists, Sydney Tracer would tally 16 assists.
-Morgan Torres, White and Dill all led DU with six digs.

The Panthers are down to only conference matches remaining. Davenport will travel to cross town rival Cornerstone University on Wednesday, October 12th at 7 p.m. The Panthers have seven conference matches remaining before the conference tournament rolls around in early November.
