SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Davenport men's soccer team earned a 2-0 win at Lawrence Tech on Saturday to remain without a loss (3-0-2) in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play. The teams played to a draw heading into the 76th minute when Jake Love broke the silence with an assist from Cam Cavanagh.

It took just less than two minutes for Love to once again score as his next goal was assisted by Emir Cengic and gave Davenport a little cushion. The match also took a turn in the 82nd minute when Mateusz Gibiec was removed with a red card as the Blue Devils finished the match with 10 men.

Davenport finished with four shots on goal (13 total) while Lawrence Tech had two shots on goal. Aaron Orban stopped both of those shots to earn the shutout.
