DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Davenport men's lacrosse team had little trouble in a 31-1 win at Clark on Friday. The Panthers (11-1) allowed just one second period goal and led 10-0 after the first quarter.
Davenport scored six goals in the second, six more in the third and finished with nine in the fourth for their biggest goal total of the season and the second-most goals in school history.
The Panthers scored four man-up goals in the contest including a pair from
Bryan Larocque who finished with 10 goals. Larocque also finished with two assists.
Jarred Riley scored six goals and assisted on eight more for 14 points.
Blain Adams scored five goals and picked up three ground balls.
Joe Lopez won 14-of-20 in the face-off department and also had seven ground balls.
Paul Schalau scored four goals and added two assists.
Jimmy Fata scored twice and added four assists.
Davenport held a 44-9 advantage in shots on goal and Clarke turned it over 40 times.
Logan Poe made eight saves for DU.
