SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference slate opened with a marquee matchup on Saturday afternoon as No. 3 Davenport traveled to undefeated Lourdes. The Panthers and Gray Wolves dueled for 110 minutes and in the end each earned a point with a 1-1 draw.

The Gray Wolves struck first in the 11th minute as Jake Kirchoff-Sleet scored his 10th goal of the season. He dribbled through DU defenders and fired from 25 yards to beat DU keeper Aaron Orban. The Panthers got the equalizer in the 27th minute as Tyler Collishaw scored his fourth of the season with an assist from TJ Ifaturoti. Lourdes failed to clear a corner kick and Collishaw took advantage.

Davenport recorded four shots on goal in the second half while Lourdes had a pair as the teams went into overtime. Neither team could find space in the first overtime as Lourdes recorded the only shot on goal. In the second overtime, Lasse Pico Kjeldsen had a header two minutes in that was recorded as a team save. He later had a header go wide with less than two minutes to play.
