ROCHESTER, Mich. – Davenport gets the week started off on a good note with a 6-2 win at Rochester College. Six different Panthers score to create a very balanced attack that Rochester could not find an answer for.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Davenport was ready to rock and roll in the first period. After Rochester scored the first goal Davenport strung together four straight goals to take a three goal lead after the first period.
-Rochester made a small comeback in the second period, they scored one goal and held DU scoreless.
-The Panthers finished the game strong with two un-answered goals in the third period to take the 6-2 win.
-Davenport was 1/3 on the power play and Rochester was 1/5.
-Wade Weisgerber, Walker Aurand, Chris Eckler, Alex Hulford, Alyx Fonseca and Jordan Simmonds all scored tonight.
-Fonseca assisted on two goals tonight.
-Jason Rhynold played the whole game and had had 30 saves.
