SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The fourth quarter was a thing of beauty on Saturday for the Davenport women's basketball team as they erased a nine-point deficit and won 76-62 at Lawrence Tech. After the lowest scoring quarter of the season (5) in the third, the Panthers scored at will in the final quarter (34) to improve to 20-2 overall and 14-0 in the WHAC. The Panthers were lethal at the free throw line shooting 81.5 percent (22-of-27) up from 66.1 percent for the season entering the game. Davenport also stayed out of foul trouble with 14 fouls which led to the Blue Devils taking just 12 freebies.

26 and 11 – Freshman Jenna Falkenberg scored a career-high 26 points on 9-of-13 from the floor and 8-of-10 at the foul line. She also grabbed 11 rebounds to post her fourth double-double of the season to tie Molly Babbs for the team lead.
15 – Babbs scored 15 points in 32 minutes and has her longest double-digit scoring streak of the season at four games
4 – The Panthers currently have a four-game lead in the WHAC standings with eight regular season games remaining
