SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The fourth quarter was a thing of beauty on Saturday for the Davenport women's basketball team as they erased a nine-point deficit and won 76-62 at Lawrence Tech. After the lowest scoring quarter of the season (5) in the third, the Panthers scored at will in the final quarter (34) to improve to 20-2 overall and 14-0 in the WHAC. The Panthers were lethal at the free throw line shooting 81.5 percent (22-of-27) up from 66.1 percent for the season entering the game. Davenport also stayed out of foul trouble with 14 fouls which led to the Blue Devils taking just 12 freebies.
