HOW IT HAPPENED

-There was little scoring action during the second period. C. Corgan found the back of the net during the 19
th minute of play. Corgan scored on an unassisted effort to tie up the game 2-2.
-Both teams hit the ice in the third period with the drive and desire to score the game winning goal. Unfortunately, the Lions scored the game winning goal in the ninth minute. They added another goal with just a couple seconds remaining to win the game 4-2.
-Both I. Thompson and Corgan scored for DU.
-E. Thompson had the only assist of the game for Davenport.
