ATHENS, Ohio – Davenport took a weekend trip to Ohio to play two games against Ohio University. The Panthers lost both games against the Bobcats and look to have a different result next weekend against Oakland University. The Bobcats came into the series holding an 8-2 record and ranked 10th in the ACHA. Shots on goal were fairly even during the first game, but Ohio scored seven goals compared to only three by Davenport. Everett Thompson led the way offensively for the Panthers, scoring two of the teams four goals over the weekend.
