Davenport beat the Crimson Wave and lose to the Knights

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Panthers played two best-of-five matches, one was a win against Calumet College and the other was a loss against the St. Andrews Knights.
 
Davenport vs Calumet: 25-18, 25-17, 25-18
 
Match number one lasted three sets against Calumet College. Altogether, the Panthers had 41 kills, 10 errors, 88 attempts, with a .352 hitting percentage, six service aces, four blocks, and 33 digs.

The second match of the day was a tough one against the St. Andrews Knights. This was a riveting match that saw multiple long rallies. The Knights played hard and beat the Panthers in a four set match. Davenport gathered an amazing 63 kills, 23 errors from 144 attempts, and a .278 hitting percentage. The defense also rallied to get 43 digs and four blocks. Senior setter Croft beat his previous record for most assists in a match (48) and managed 51 against St. Andrews.
