David Vander Meer. "Excited about our long term goals and how they may play out. This coming weekend we defend our D2 championship from last year and in two weeks we play at nationals."

Davenport ended their regular season 32-13 with a home record of 20-4. Although their regular season is over the Panthers will finish it over the next two weeks. This weekend they play in a two-day MIVA Championship tournament in Northern Illinois. The team will play several matches against inter-conference teams to determine an ultimate champion.
