DALLAS, Texas - The Davenport cheerleading program captured another STUNT Division II National Championship on the campus of Southern Methodist University on Sunday. The Panthers needed to play the role of comeback kids after they dropped their second game on Saturday against Alma College. Davenport started the day needing to win both games against Central Oklahoma and Alma and they did just that. They beat UCO 18-10 on Saturday in their first game and then 18-11 to setup the rematch with the Scots for all the marbles. DU came through after a one-point loss the day before with a 17-14 win and another trophy for the case.
