CLERMONT, Fla. – Davenport's offense struggled during Game three of the NAIA World Series to LSU-Alexandria. The Panthers recorded two hits against the opposing pitcher and gave up four runs to the Generals.
Aby Brambila and
McKenzie Rowe were the two Panthers to record hits. Davenport will now continue the remainder of the World Series in the elimination bracket and will need to win out in order win the National Championship. The Panthers have been great with their back against the wall the whole season and will get a chance to continue that success tomorrow morning.

The bats for Davenport couldn't get the job done vs. LSU-Alexandria, as the team only recorded two hits and had no walks. The Generals put up one run during the first, third, fourth and sixth innings to slowly increase their lead throughout the game. Davenport had a scoring opportunity in the top of the fifth inning when Brambila doubled to left field and then advanced to third base after a ground out by
Briana Allen. The next batter was un-able to bring Brambila home and Davenport didn't have another scoring opportunity the remainder of the game.
