CALEDONIA, Mich. – After 110 minutes of play neither Davenport or Northern Michigan were able to score a goal. Both teams had equal opportunities to score, having almost identical numbers in the shots and shots on goal categories. Davenport is now 1-0-1 in conference play and one of five teams who are currently undefeated in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the first half there was little opportunities for either team to score. The only shot on goal recorded for the Panthers in the first half was a shot by
Ashlyn Skidmore from the far left wing. Over the 45 minute half other Davenport players recoded shots, but none of them were on goal.
Roheema Bennett was given a yellow card during the 26
th minute.
Lacey Chanady had an opportunity to score early for the Panthers, ripping a shot from the top of the box. The Wildcats goal keeper was able to stop the shot and keep the game at a 0-0 tie. Davenport had a couple more opportunities to score throughout the half, but none could find the net. The closest shot of the half was when Chanady took a corner kick with just under five minutes left in regulation and hit the top post.
During both overtime periods Davenport tallied just one shot on goal. A shot by
Allison Luurtsema from the far right wing couldn't find its way in the goal. Davenport had one final opportunity to score with a corner kick by
Katlyn Varney with under 20 seconds to play, but no one could get their head on the ball.
