ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Davenport is down in Missouri for a doubleheader against Lindenwood. The first game of the doubleheader went to the Lions of Lindenwood. The Lions led the shots on goal category 37-26 and Davenport played two different goalies during the game.
Joey Ogden scored the only goal for Davenport and was assisted by
Everett Thompson.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-In the opening period the Lions offense came out super aggressive, recording 13 shots on goal and scoring on four of them. Davenport got a goal from J. Ogden during the 11
th minute of play to cut the lead down to one goal. Two goals by Lindenwood late in the period gave them a 4-1 lead during the first intermission.
-In the second period the Lions got three more goals, while shutting out DU. Davenport recorded 10 shots on goal, but none of them could find the back of the net.
-During the final period neither team scored.
-J. Ogden scored the only goal.
-E. Thompson had the only assist.

Nate Ferris played 15:56 in goal and had eight saves, while
Tanner Swift played 44:04 and recorded 22 saves.
