HOLLAND, Mich. - The women's swimming and diving team traveled to nearby Hope College on Friday, Nov. 2 for a meet against the Flying Dutch. The Panthers in the infancy of their program could not match the experience of the Flying Dutch in a 124-87 loss.
Riley Faulkner claimed first place in the 500-yard freestyle with a 10-second win over second place Abigail Brinks in a time of 5:23.25.
Jenna Schrotenboer had a very close win at 50-yard freestyle in a time of 25.42 over Meg Peel (25.50).
Maura Fitzpatrick was second in the one-meter diving with 197.35 points.
Dominyka Rapsyte won the 50-yard butterfly in a time of 27.58 over Betsy Craig (27.85).
Allie Steffin won the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 32.28 over Emma Schaefer (32.66). The Panthers also won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:41.61.Â
