KANSAS CITY, Mo. - First day of pool play at Heart of America 7s qualifying tournament started out with weather issues and very cold conditions. Despite the weather, the Panthers came out on top with a pair of wins. The first game was against the University of Oklahoma and DU won with a score of 28-0. It was a total team effort with scores by Brady Erlich, Noah Zomberg and Logan Mate. The second game was against Kansas State University and again the Panthers came out on top 35-0. The Panthers will now advance to the knockout round against an opponent to be determined at 12:40 p.m. eastern time.
