th shutout win of the season and lowered her season ERA to 1.06. The offense for Davenport was spread throughout the team with five Panthers recording an RBI.

The Panthers have had a lot of success with Teunissen on the mound this season, winning 16 games heading into the DH with the Cardinals. The offense backed up Teunissen in game, scoring four runs while Teunissen earned her 10
th shutout of the season. Davenport got on the board early with a Griffin double to right center that scored Pauley. The offense was slow for both teams through innings 2-5, with zero runs being scored. The Panthers picked it up late in the game, scoring two runs in the sixth and an additional security run in the seventh. In the sixth Allen singled to center field to score Urban, then Crawford singled up the middle to score Allen. French sent a homer to right center in the seventh to give Davenport a four run cushion heading into the bottom of the seventh. Teunissen struck out the opening two batters then got the final batter to ground out, securing DU's fifth straight win.

The Cardinals took out their batting frustrations from the first game on Muilenburg in game two. After Davenport scored a run in the top of the second SVSU scored three in the bottom of the second and another two in third to take a 5-1 lead. The Panthers cut the lead down to three runs after French drove in Jewell of a single to center field in the fifth inning. Saginaw Valley responded with a run in the fifth of their own and two more in the sixth to go up six runs. Davenport went 1-2-3 in the top of the seventh.

Davenport gets to enjoy playing their final 10 games of the 2018 regular season at home. The first doubleheader will be on Saturday, April 21 against Wayne State University. This is the Panthers seventh annual Domestic Violence Awareness Game and will be selling t-shirts at the games.
