BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Davenport women's swimming and diving team traveled to NCAA Division I opponent Illinois State on Saturday (Jan. 12) for their first competition in nearly two months. The last time the Panthers were in the pool was November 18 at Wabash College.
The Panthers lost to the Redbirds 202-91 in dual action from the Bloomington Normal Swim Club. Allie Steffin won the 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 31.29.
Victoria Postmus won the 100-yard butterfly with a sub-minute time of 59.80.
Lauren Bockheim won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.20. The 200-yard freestyle relay was also victorious with a time of 1:42.09.
