Davenport has a long history with Grace Christian, who were previously Grace Bible a couple years ago, that has leaned the Panthers way. Robbie Bramhill his first start of the season. The five starters,
Dyllon Hudson-Emory,
Janeau Joubert,
Avery Hudson,
Chris Rollins, and Bramhill combined for 90 of the 116 points scored by DU. Hudson-Emory led the way with a career high 29 points, he shot 11/14 from the field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Davenport got things started quickly in the first half, scoring a three in transition by Rollins for the opening score. A couple layups later the Panthers had a 7-2 advantage with 17:25 to go in the half. The Tigers kept it close for a majority of the half, tying the game at 33 each and then taking the lead, 39-38, with only 2:52 to play. The Panthers ended the half on a great note, scoring nine unanswered points to take a 47-39 halftime lead. Freshman
Chaz Birchfield beat the buzzer to end the half after grabbing an offensive board and the laying the ball in as the buzzer sounded.
The Panthers didn't mess around in the second half, scoring an incredible 69 points in the 20-minute half. Davenport averaged at least three points per minute in the half. The half opened with DU scoring seven straight points to build up a 15-point lead. Grace Christian fought back and after back to back threes they cut the lead down to eight points. However, this was the closest Davenport would let the Tigers get taking the lead. Hudson hit a three and Hudson-Emory finished a layup to bring the lead back to double digits. The lead hit 20 points for the first time in the game when Hudson finished a layup on a fast break, giving DU a 93-73 lead with 7:01 to play. The Panthers continued to share the ball and make open shots. Davenport hit the 100-point mark with 5:33 still to play in the game. In addition to scoring 100 points as a team, the Panthers had all nine players who dressed for the game score, including freshman
Jake Lee who hit a jump shot in the short corner.
