SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Davenport University women's volleyball team got back to its winning ways on Saturday with a sweep at Lake Superior State to make it eight wins in the last 10 matches. Eight of the Panthers 10 overall wins have come in straight sets and all eight of them were away from Grand Rapids.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Davenport hit .223 to .108 by the home team, Lake Superior State.
- That .108 is the third-lowest output by a Davenport opponent this season.
- The Panthers' offense got better as the match progressed with outputs of .057, .263 and .333 from the first set to the third.

Hayley Kreiger led the team in kills with 10 while
Megan Herr was the leader in hitting percentage at .538.

Sami White had a big day with seven kills, a .350 hitting percentage, 25 assists, and four service aces.
- Defensively, Kreiger had two solo blocks and
Jenna Asper dug out 12 attacks, her most since November of last season.
NEXT UP
- Davenport is off on Friday before hosting Grand Valley State on Saturday at 5 p.m. The Lakers took the two teams' earlier season matchup in Allendale, three sets to two.
