The loss puts Davenport with an overall record of 4-5 and 0-2 in conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The opening half of action was filled with scoring, unfortunately a majority of the scoring belonged to the sharp shooting Rangers. Parkside scored 61 points in the first half, the most given up in a half by the Panthers so far this season. Davenport did their best to stay in the game, scoring 28 points in the first quarter alone. The deficit was 17 points at halftime and Davenport needed to make some defensive adjustments in order to have a chance in the second.
The Panthers defense improved in the second half, giving up only 19 points in the third quarter. However, once the Rangers took their early lead in the first half, Davenport couldn't string together enough baskets to make a comeback. The crowd and Davenport bench was filled with energy when freshman
Madison Jones went on a scoring flurry of her own in the third quarter. Jones scored nine straight points for DU, but even after the run the deficit was still double digits for the Panthers. Davenport couldn't get enough stops and then scores on the other end to reverse the lead and Parkside walked away with the win.
