GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - For the first time since 2018 and just the third time since joining the ranks of Division II prior to the 2017 season, the Davenport University women's volleyball team has won five matches in a row. Saturday in the DU Student Center, the Panthers rolled past Lake Superior State in straight sets and they'll be at Grand Valley State (13-7, 6-3 GLIAC) in a week for a 4 p.m. first serve.

Match Notes
- Davenport has been red hot offensively in its last three matches with 124 kills to just 28 errors on 282 total attacks for a .340 hitting percentage.
- Lake Superior State became the first DU opponent this season without a service ace, seomthing that's only happened once in the Panthers DII era (Stonehill - 2017).
- The Panthers put on another consistant effort offensively with hitting percentages of .286 in the first, .324 in the second and .206 in the third.
- On the other side, the Lakers got worse as the match progressed with clips of .105 in the first, .067 in the second and .000 in the third.
- Kreiger made her presence known with at least 10 kills and a .300 or better hitting percentage, something she hadn't done since Oct. 2 against PNW.
- Herr finished with 10 or more kills for the third time in her last five matches, something she'd done five times in the 17 matches prior.
- Kalinowski has recorded multiple service aces in four of her last six matches after doing so just once in her first 15 outings.
- After having five aces in her first 17 matches of the season, Corstange has come on as of late at the service line with eight aces in the last five games.
- Corstange, the GLIAC's leader in digs with 391, also notched 20 or more digs for the eighth time this fall.
