For the first time since joining NCAA Division II, the men's soccer team will be heading to the national tournament. The Panthers received an at-large bid in Super Region 3 and are the No. 10 and final seed. Davenport (11-7-1) will take on No. 7 seed Lewis University (11-4-3) on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Mentor (Ohio) High School. Lake Erie College will be the host of the first round matchup as the No. 2 seed and will play the winner on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Mentor High School.

Lewis and Davenport have played one other time and that was Sept. 9, 2018 with Lewis getting a 1-0 win in Caledonia. Only three current players saw the field that day including Daire O'Riordan, Matt Whelan, and Evan Marquess.
