The final three home games for the Davenport University men's basketball team have arrived and they begin with a pair against the GLIAC's first-place team, Michigan Tech. The Huskies have gone just 3-3 in their own gym but boast and unblemished road record of 5-0. The games will be played on Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. inside the DU Student Center.
Individually, Michigan Tech is paced by the second-best scorer in the GLIAC according to points per game and that's junior guard, Owen White, at 20.4 points per outing. Also averaging double-figures for the Huskies are Dawson Bilski (13.4), Trent Bell (11.8) and Eric Carl (11.4). White and Ball both average over seven rebounds a game with 7.6 and 7.4, respectively, while Carter Johnston is on top of the assist department with an average of 4.5. As a team, the Huskies boast the fifth best scoring defense in all of Division II at just 61.6 points allowed per game.
