Since starting the season 0-2, the Davenport University women's volleyball team (5-3) has won five of its last six matches and is coming off a four-set victory over crosstown rival, Grand Valley State, on Saturday. Meanwhile, it's been a streaky season so far for Wayne State (4-4) as the Warriors started 3-0 before dropping four in a row, but are also coming off a win that got them back to the .500 mark.
Offensively, the Warriors are led by Taylor Wagner (84 kills), Lauren VanderWal (65 kills), Maddie Morrison (60 kills), Kamryn Duffield (291 assists and 10 service aces) and Maddy Benoit (10 aces). Switching over to the defensive side of things, Benoit is the squad's leader in digs with 117 while Halle Shell has racked up a team-leading 26 blocks.
