Davenport and Northern Michigan, the hottest teams in the GLIAC, will face off on Friday (5 p.m.) and Saturday (1 p.m.) in a battle between two of the league's top four teams in the standings. The Panthers have won three-straight matches and seven of their last eight while the Wildcats have been on the winning end in nine straight since losing their first outing of the season. Those nine-straight wins have catapulted Northern Michigan to first in the conference standings as well as a tie for 21st in the AVCA's most recent top 25 while Davenport sits in sole possession of fourth.

Taking a look at the Wildcats, they're first in the GLIAC in service aces per set (2.11), second in kills per set (13.89), second in hitting percentage (.227), third in assists per set (12.54), and fourth in digs per set (17.7). Individually, Northern Michigan is led by Jacqueline Smith (126 kills), Lizzy Stark (116 kills and 115 digs), Lauren Van Remortel (408 assists and 18 aces), Alli Yacko (196 digs), Ania Hyatt (22 blocks), and Meghan Meyer (21 blocks).
