On Monday, January 17th, Davenport University will be closed recognizing Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. DU athletic activities will be canceled that day so that our student-athletes and staff can take the time to celebrate this holiday and the impact Dr. King, Jr. had on our society.

Davenport encourages everyone to attend one of several events they have coming up to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Each year these events gather like-minded individuals in honor of Dr. King, Jr. to continue to address the inequities facing our nation and promote non-violence within our communities.
