PREVIEW: Davenport to Wrap Up Regular Season on the Road

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The regular season will come to a close this week for the Davenport University women's volleyball team as the Panthers will travel to Lake Superior State on Friday (4 p.m.) and Ferris State on Saturday (6 p.m.). At 21-7 overall (12-4 in GLIAC play), the Panthers can take over sole possession of fourth place on the program's single season wins chart with two more victories.

Match Notes
- Kreiger sent home 20 or more kills with a hitting percentage of at least .350 for the second time this season and fourth time in her illustrious career.
- Kreiger also broke her own school record of 20 for kills in a match lasting three sets.
- Wilson had registered five or more kills in a match eight times this fall.
- Beeke became a menace at the net and tallied five kills, her most as a Panther.
- The transfer from Youngstown State attacked the ball nine times without committing a single error as well.
- Nowak notched multiple service aces in a match for the second time this season, the first instance was against Wayne State.
- Back to Beeke, she blocked three attack attempts, her third-straight match with multiple, something she did just once in the 13 matches before.
- As a team, Davenport improved to 9-1 when hitting at least .200 and the .250 clip on Friday was the highest for a home match this season.
- The Panthers hit a match-high .375 in the first while the Lakers' best offensive output was .237 in the third.

- As a team, Davenport racked up 91 digs, second to 100 at Michigan Tech, but most for a home match since 2018.
- On the attack, the Panthers hit at least .200 for the third-straight match and ninth time this season (8-1 record in those matches).
- Friday's effort marked the first for DU this season in which the opponent finished with more aces (9-8).
- The Panthers' best offensive set was the fifth (.292) while the Bulldogs' was the fourth (.310).
- Kreiger made it seven double-doubles for the season and 25 for her career.
