Grand Valley State Takes Five-Set Thriller from Davenport

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Hosting a GLIAC Tournament match for the first time in program history, Davenport welcomed Grand Valley State for a quarterfinal showdown Wednesday night inside the Student Center. The Panthers won the first set and the Lakers took the next two before the home team dominated the fourth to send the match to a fifth and deciding set. There, DU led 9-5 before being outscored 10-3 the rest of the way.
