Davenport University women's volleyball outside hitter, Hayley Kreiger, has garnered All-American honors for the second time in her illustrious career. Following up an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American nod in 2021, the 6-1 South Haven native was named D2CCA First Team All-American and AVCA Second Team All-American on Wednesday morning.

Kreiger is the fourth All-American in program history (Stone, DeHaan, Getty), but first at the Division II level, first First Team All-American and first to be named an All-American by the D2CCA. The prolific attacker is also the first player in DU history to be named an All-American by two different organizations and will look for a third on Dec. 21 when the CSC announces its Academic All-Americans.

With her 1,000th career dig in the GLIAC Tournament quarterfinals against Grand Valley State, Kreiger became just the second player in program history (Krissy Dill) with 1,000 or more kills and 1,000 or more digs. She still ranks second in all of Division II in kills and is fifth across all Divisions with 575. For just Division II, she's also first in total attacks (1,554), first in attacks per set (13.28), second in kills per set (4.91), and third in points per set (5.53).
