Baseball (7-10)
The Panthers got a 12-4 win on Sunday against Southern Indiana snapping a five-game losing streak.
Derrick Edington got the win on the mound going five innings and allowing just two hits with six strikeouts.
Carson Eby hit a two-run homer in the second inning and
Carter Troncin hit a three-run blast in the third inning. Troncin set career highs for hits and RBI in the contest. The Panthers will play Southern Indiana twice on Monday starting at 1 PM ET.
Softball (7-7)
Head coach,
Kathryn Bzdafka, will coach her first home games as a Panther when Davenport makes its 2022 home debut on Saturday against Cedarville. Game one of the doubleheader against the Yellow Jackets is set to begin at noon at Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex.
Men's Lacrosse (3-2)
The Panthers ran into a tough Lewis team last time out in a 12-3 loss in Romeoville, Illinois. The team is looking to get back into the win column on Tuesday as they travel to Walsh (0-4) for a 3 PM faceoff with the Cavaliers.
Women's Lacrosse (5-1)
Davenport is up one spot to No. 24 in the IWLCA Poll, the highest ranking in program history. Those No. 24 Panthers will be at Lewis on Friday for a 5 p.m., 4 p.m. central time match with the Flyers. DU leads the all-time series against LU 2-0 and has outscored the Flyers 45-15 in those two meetings. This past week, Davenport went 2-0 with a pair of home wins over the likes of Tiffin on Friday, 22-5, and Findlay on Sunday, 20-7.
Men's Golf
Davenport will be in action for the second time this spring when it travels to Lexington, Ky. and Kearney Hill Golf Links for the SVSU Spring Invite on Saturday-Sunday.
Women's Golf
DU will be competing at the Saginaw Valley Spring Invite down in Kentucky on Saturday and Sunday.
Tennis
The men's team is ranked No. 20 in NCAA Division II for the first time cracking the top 25. They beat Indiana Tech 4-3 last Friday to improve to 13-1 overall.
