GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The men's tennis team lost for just the second time this season (13-2) on Saturday morning against a talented squad from Northwestern Ohio (14-3) by a final score of 4-3 at the Grand Rapids Racquet Club.
The Panthers were able to capture the point in doubles by winning at the two and three spots. The one doubles was 5-4 in favor of the Racers before that match was unfinished because the other two were wrapped up. 
Quintan van Wijk and 
Joel Mast teamed up for a 6-3 win at two doubles. 
Maxim Drinchich and 
Daniil Khitrou had a 6-3 win at three doubles for the Panthers.
van Wijk picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win at two singles over Marcos Salazar of the Racers. The Panthers two experienced players in 
Juan-Louis van Antwerpen and 
Jonathan Bulmer both were defeated which helped springboard the win for UNOH. Mast was able to win at four singles even though his opponent had to retire. Mast was up 6-2 after the first set and the match was 1-1 in the second set.
David Ayguavives at five singles and Nils Messin at six singles both got wins for UNOH in straight sets and they got the four points needed for the victory.
