GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - In a highly-anticipated matchup between #23 Davenport and #9 Wayne State, the Warriors got the best of the Panthers in a 6-1 final. The Warriors improved to 14-4 overall and 2-0 in the GLIAC while DU is now 14-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
The Warriors set the tone in doubles by winning all three matches. The three doubles proved to be the closest as DU fell 6-4.

Juan Jose Pino Contoleon was narrowly edged by Ben Lakeman and Niklas Karcz of Wayne State.
The Warriors won their five singles matches in straight sets. 
Quintan van Wijk got the single point for Davenport at two singles with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Karcz. 
Juan-Louis van Antwerpen at one singles battled but fell 6-2, 6-4 against Dom Spicer. The rest of the matches saw DU not win more than three games in any set.
