Canton, Ohio - The Davenport University women's volleyball team hadn't won seven matches in a row since 2015... until Saturday that is. The Panthers took down the host school, Malone, in straight sets before defeating Edinboro in four as part of the Pioneers' Hall of Fame City Challenge. Next up, DU will be at No. 22 Hillsdale on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. first serve against the Chargers.

- Murphy turned in a season-high six kills and was efficient in the process without an error on 14 total attacks for a .429 hitting percentage.
- Taylor turned in her second-best hitting percentage of the fall with a .391 clip thanks to 11 kills and only two errors on 23 swings.
- As a team, Davenport hit .255, the second-best hitting percentage of the season until the second match of the day, with 38 kills and just 10 errors on 110 attacks.
- The Panthers once again got better as the match progressed with hitting clips of, in order, .242, .250 and .268.
- The win was DU's fifth sweep in a row, their most since seven in a row back in 2014.
