Davenport Sweeps Wayne State for Fifth Win in a Row

DETROIT - Just like their first meeting of the season on Saturday, Sept. 17 in Grand Rapids, Davenport swept Wayne State, this time in Detroit and on a Friday. The Panthers made it back-to-back 3-0 wins over Warriors for the first time in program history, took a 6-5 advantage in the all-time series and racked up their fifth-straight victory. Next up, DU will be at Saginaw Valley State on Saturday for a 4 p.m. first serve looking to avenge a 3-0 loss to the Cardinals earlier in the season.

- Davenport hit at least .250 for the fifth time this season (5-0 record) and at least .200 for the 11th time (10-1).
- The Panthers' best offensive clip came in the second (.364) while the Warriors was the third (.194).
