DETROIT - Just like their first meeting of the season on Saturday, Sept. 17 in Grand Rapids, Davenport swept Wayne State, this time in Detroit and on a Friday. The Panthers made it back-to-back 3-0 wins over Warriors for the first time in program history, took a 6-5 advantage in the all-time series and racked up their fifth-straight victory. Next up, DU will be at Saginaw Valley State on Saturday for a 4 p.m. first serve looking to avenge a 3-0 loss to the Cardinals earlier in the season.
