MIDLAND, Mich. - For the third straight game, the Davenport men's soccer team dropped a one-goal match in a 1-0 loss to Tiffin on Sunday on a neutral field in Midland, Mich. The Dragons dropped their season opener to Saginaw Valley State on Friday, but rebounded with a solid performance against the Panthers.
Tiffin finished with 15 total shots including five shots on goal. Davenport finished with 11 total shots including two shots on goal.
Eoin Broughan had a shot on goal in the 6th minute.
Andrew Dykstra had a shot on goal in the 89th minute.Â
Juan Rosique scored in the 34th minute for the Dragons with Davide Frezzi on the assist. After three goals in the opener, Davenport has managed just one goal in their last three matches. The non-conference portion of the schedule is complete and now Davenport looks forward to GLIAC play. First up a date with Saginaw Valley State on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 4 PM in Univ. Center, Mich.
