MARQUETTE, Mich. - Davenport University women's soccer wrapped up their road trip against No. 18 Northern Michigan University in a 3-0 shutout in favor of the Wildcats. The Panthers are now 4-2-3 overall with their GLIAC record falling to 1-2-3.

NMU posted an overwhelming 24 shots total, 16 of those coming in the first 45 minutes, with 10 shots on goal for the match. Gabriana Bennecke tallied seven saves in the match, her second-highest saves total in a match this season.

Stephani Trujilllo opened the scoring a few seconds before the 12-minute marker (unassisted), with the next two goals coming from Molly Pistorius (31', Hannah Kastamo assist), and Kastamo (67', Brooke Pietila assist) to secure the victory.

DU will hope to rebound after being held to two goals total through four road matches as they return home to face Grand Valley State University next week.
