GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University men's soccer finished their last regular season home match of the season in a 0-0 result against Northern Michigan University.

Nic Baigrie, Eoin Broughan, Ben Godden, George Deveau, and Elmin Ejup were honored in the annual Senior Day celebration prior to kickoff, with hopes to help assist their team to a victory on a day that marked occasions.

Although DU failed to convert a shot attempt in the match, they out shot the Wildcats 16-3 and marked eight of those shots on target while preventing a single shot-on-goal attempt by NMU.

This was just the fourth time the Panthers were unable to tally a goal on the scoreboard in their 12 matches played this year, the first time being against the Wildcats in Marquette, Mich. with the match ending 1-0 in favor of NMU. With the draw, the season series closed at 1-0-1 in favor of the Wildcats.

DU will prepare for their final stretch of regular season matches on the road against No. 1 GLIAC Wisconsin-Parkside and No. 2 GLIAC Purdue Northwest next weekend.
