Orlando, Fla. - The women's tennis team is on their spring break trip at the USTA National Campus on a warm-filled Sunday. The Panthers competed in a doubleheader, first earning a convincing win over Warner 6-0. The Panthers went on to play 6th-ranked Lynn University, falling 4-0, underneath the lights.
To begin the Panthers had some assistance from Warner as they only had five active players earning the automatic default win at three doubles. At one doubles, it was
Skye Vandeleur and
Hermon Mikael who joined and sprinted to a 6-1 victory grabbing the doubles point over Alizee Piette and Victoria Belisario. At two doubles,
Louise Hosking and
Isabella Carofano picked up the doubles win for the Panthers 6-4 over Lauren Schiraldi and Carla Schneider.
Similar to the doubles, the Panthers started out 1-0 in singles points as the Royals did not have an active six singles. Bloch at one singles was nearing a victory before play was halted, (6-2, 4,1 UF). At the two-singles spot, Coetzee had a stunning finish winning eight straight games towards a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Piette. At the three singles position, Vandeleur wasted zero time earning a flashy 6-0, 6-1 win over Belisario. In the end, it was
Valentina Moreno who clinched the match for the Panthers at four singles (6-0, 6-0) over Schiraldi.

The Panthers struggled early on losing the doubles point against Lynn. At one doubles,
Amy Bloch and
Willemien Coetzee paired up narrowly dropping the match 6-4 to Zofia Podbiol and Greta Schieroni. At two doubles, it was
Skye Vandeleur and
Hermon Mikael together as they dropped their match 6-1 to Salma Djoubri and Kristen Younes. At three doubles,
Louise Hosking and
Isabella Carofano was in a battle as the point was secured by the Knights (6-5 UF).
Bloch at one singles dropped the match (6-1, 6-2) to Djoubri. At the two-singles spot, Coetzee lost to Schieroni (6-0, 6-1). Carofano bumped up to four singles and was dismissed by Pigato (6-2, 6-2).
