Â
The Panthers made some changes in their lineup due to some off-court challenges, but still managed to claim the doubles point. It all started with
Skye Vandeleur and
Hermon Mikael who were bumped up to one doubles and earned a 6-4 win over Neo Mafuyeka and Alizee Ripolles.Â
Isabella Carofano and
Louise Hosking also moved up a spot but were unable to grab the victory as the duo dropped the match 7-6 (7-4) to Ana Cetina and Jelena Lopicic.
Amy Bloch and
Kumiko Yamaguchi played the three doubles position and their strong efforts granted them the 6-4 win over Abigail Beck and Veronika Kovalchuk.
Â
DU did not let up in singles as they claimed four out of six matches. Carofano played three singles and had zero trouble with being moved up as the Canadian earned the 6-3, 6-1 win over Lopicic.
