MIDLAND, Mich. - The Panthers men's tennis team traveled to the Greater Midland Tennis Center this weekend to compete in the conference tournament. Davenport defeated Purdue Northwest for the second time this season with a 4-2 over the Pride in the GLIAC Tournament quarterfinals.
In this year's first contest, Davenport claimed the doubles point so the men were surprised by PNW's doubles as they took the point on this day.

Daniil Khitrou got to the finish line quickly at three doubles taking the match 6-2 over Paul Hawes and Levent Evyapan. The Panthers dropped the remaining matches at one and two doubles.
Pacciolla gave Davenport their first point at six singles with a swift 6-0, 6-1 win over Aidan Beike.
Joel Mast picked up a fulfilling win at three singles in a competitive 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 victory over Joao Martins. Paramasivam played singles as the first two sets were completed in less than an hour as the two split sets before Luca Kirchhoff took the match.
Jan Stolin put the Panthers in striking position with his 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) win over All-GLIAC First Team recipient in Samuel Dickson. Khitrou delivered the final blow to the Pride with a inspiring 6-2, 6-4 win over Luis Alvear.
The Panthers advance to the semifinals tomorrow against top-seed Ferris State at noon.
