GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University men's soccer is heading into GLIAC action after wrapping up out-conference-play.

The team comes in at No. 8 in the NCAA Division II United Soccer Coaches Midwest Region Poll after a 1-1 split of matches against Tiffin and Northwood University at home last week.

Vitalis Takawira Jr. led the Panthers in goals scored with two overall, one coming from a penalty kick attempt against Tiffin and the other being the game-winner against the Timberwolves inside of the final 10 minutes of the match. Andrew Dykstra tallied his second goal of the season against Northwood with an assist by Cam Power - the team's first assist this year.

Looking ahead to this week, DU will be on the road against Northern Michigan and St. Cloud State.
